We offer oral immunotherapy for children 5 and under. OIT is a type of desensitization therapy for children with food allergies. The goals of OIT are to protect the child against accidental exposures and in many cases the child is able to eat a larger serving size of the food than they were able to tolerate previously. Food currently being treated include peanut, tree nut and sesame as well as others after a discussion with our allergist Dr. Shama Sud.
